When I come across the rogue dirty word, I usually just edit it and put the "*" or something in place of a letter to eleminate the word, but leave the expression. It's less than 10% of members who use this language. More on the line of .5%, but it's there.
I can no longer do this because its becoming prevalent in the forum. If you use a profane word, that is not allowed to be said on TV, then the post will likely be deleted.
This is a rule that has been in place for a few years. It's in the TOS policy that you agreed to when you joined the forum.
It's not my intent to go around this forum being a "gestapo agent" but language is a pet peeve of mine. You can easily express yourself without the use of profane language.
This forum was established on the high moral standards and to be above the mud slinging, name calling, dirty words and inuendo that can be hurtful to any member by, sex, race, color and religious beliefs. We are of the few forums that monitor for this kind of hurtfull language.
Please, express yourself freely, but if the words you want to use are banned by the FCC (T.V.), then they are not permissable here either.:grouphug:
