Handlebar cover for 96xp yellow...what's it worth?

Back during my resto I bought nearly every handlebar pad cover I could find. Pretty much all of them I threw away, but this one. I got screwed more times than not on ebay. Oh well, live and learn. Anywho

I paid $100+ for this one the gentleman said was in "good" condition. Obviously condition is in the eyes of the beholder, and we had a differing of opinion. With that being said no way am I going to screw anyone else worse than I've been screwed. I spent several hours trying to "clean" this one up better than the condition I got it. It's soft, pliable, and in fairly good condition.

So what are these things worth?

I pulled it out today and it's still shiny from me putting vinyl conditioner on it a few years back, wrapping it up in a towel, and putting it in a box.

It looks like someone scrubbed the bejesus outta it with a brillo pad. I've fixed a bulk of it, so it's as good as it's gonna get......as far as I can get it anyways.


Still has some specs on the top that won't come off. Wish they would have just left it alone. Chances are I could have saved it and brought it back to looking like new.

looks to me that itll fit nicely on my spx, and I can experiment with some plasti-dip and paint....whats it worth to ya suki suki suki?

Um, if you want to experiment with a cover and plasti dip, I'll sell you a green one. Don't F up a yellow one. I know the dip peels off but that's just wrong.

Someone here was sending them to "a guy" that was making them as good as new but they had to be fairly intact to start like this one. Matt possibly?

hah, well there's another member that asked about it first. If he wants it he gets first crack. Just trying to see what's a fair price if in fact he does want it.

the one that was on the ski when i bought it was painted. UGH! You paint it, it pretty much goes in the trash. There's no fixing it....really. Plastidip might be ok.
