We have had these boats out one season and don't have engine temp or lake water temp on the gauges. Can anyone help with this? It seems to be critical to get the engine up to temp before checking oil and to make sure the supercharger isn't harmed.

I thought the 08 at least for sure had the water temp, no engine temp on the gauges that I recall.

I just usually idle out to warm up through the no wake zone which locally is about 300 yds so it has some time to warm up then not peg it until after a couple minutes but after that I don't even think twice.

Thanks for the reply. These machines have low hours but weren't checked out very well by the dealer we bought them from, so I guess I'm going to be doing the maintenance on them. I read a couple of threads about the instruments and some cycling of the connections and contact spray might get the readings back. Do you change you own oil? If so, what kind of dipstick sucker should I buy. I hope my wife doesn't find out I'm typing like this. We are in Montana and have a short riding season and the water we ride was ice a week ago. We will be careful about warm up in the future. We do like these boats even tho they are 400 pounds more a piece than our last boats. I'll read more of your posts, and thanks again. Tom

A lot of people are using a manual pump to get the oil out but I paid about $80 for a pneumatic pump as its so convenient to use. Basically 1-2 oil changes and you have your money back. And DON'T buy the "Seadoo oil change kit". It's w-a-y overpriced vs buying the parts individually.
