GTX Steering Nozzle slop

How much slop is too much regarding the steering nozzle. The PO of this GTX didn't think much of maintenance, and the nozzle bushings are sloppy. I would say that the steering slop moves up and down and 1/16 inch, and left to right, nearly 1/8 inch.
Rattles easily if you wiggle on it. There are nylon bushings in there, yes?
Or am I worrying over nothing? The other two ski's I have don't have hardly any slop at all.

The less the better. If it flips side to side it can create bad end results and you will be swimming. If it moves more than an inch I would be fixing it.

Yes it should move up and down and have a little play left to right. There will be a little slack in the cable and the up and down you don't have to worry about since the nozzle is captured.
