GTX 787 Bogging

I have a 1997 Seadoo GTX
I have replaced the RAVE valves with the slotted ones and new wear ring. Wow what a difference in performance, it reacts quicker and is quieter too.
Ran great for about 20-30 minutes, reaching about 6800 RPM's which is about typical. Then all of a sudden it wouldn't go past 5200 RPM's. The lake was a little choppy so I crossed someone elses wake and it revved right up to 6800 RPM's at full throttle again. Not sure why this would happen, any thoughts?

Rave valves are not working properly. Did you put in green bellows? I just went through a similar situation, look for my thread in the normal 2-stroke forum; not performance forum.

not exactly sure. Sounds like the green bellows should have different springs and adjustment. I went back to the reds and factory settings/parts; worked for me.

I used to feel the same way about the red and the green bellows. Not so sure now as a lot of people are obviously buying the green ones and they are working. LOL Check and make sure you still have threads in your piston. I've melted one or two in less than 1 hour run time. Good Luck.
