Gts won't start please help!!!!

1992 Seadoo GTS 580 will not start most of the time. Once in a while it will barely idle but as soon as you give it any gas it wil die out

Has 150 psi in both cylinders
Took head off and cylinders have no signs of damage
Has good spark on both cylinders
Turns over Great (fresh batt.)
Cleaned carb and fuel system
replaced old fuel with fresh fuel (premix)
bypassed oem style fuel filter and petcock and put a dirt bike style fuel filter on it and ran the reserve line straight to the carb (in)
it is pumping fuel
New spark plugs

I am stumped

Bad crank seals? I sprayed contact cleaner by the pto side crank seal and nothing happed
I should probably do a leak down huh?

When you cleaned the fuel system did you blow out the tiny carb filters - prolly by now the grey fuel lines have been changed to something else, how about the rubbers inside the fuel control switch, if you are not comfy with servicing this switch a new one is only about 25bux and at this age a likely air leak as any one leak will allow air and that means you are running lean and hot.

The Rotary Valve Cover may be worn out of spec, and would need to be re-machined. SBT does a great job for $25 bucks. First do a clearance reading
the proceedureis in your service manual. A common cause of hard starting. Bill

It saves starters as it would easily start.

I cleaned out the carb filter in the carb and there is black fuel lines. so the grey fuel line is not a problem. I bypassed the fuel petcock just for now so thats no problem eather. I didn't think of the rotary valve cover clearance though I will have to check that out.

remove the choke plates, and install a primer kit

If you have compression and spark... that just leaves fuel. So... either your carb isn't working, or your rotary valve isn't working.

Since you said the carb is clean... I would pull it back off, and check the valve clearance, then I would pull the manifold, and make sure the valve is in good condition, and timed properly.
