Got a dealer willing to accept 15,500 otd taxes fees and reg for a 2017 GTR x 230 on a single trailer with storage. What do you guys think as the Msrp is 12999 and seadoo currently has a 500 rebate with 0% for 36 months?

I was thinking 14500 total is more ballpark and dealer will still make some money?

Thanks in advance!

I'm in the middle of pricing out the same model, our dealer is at 12,200 for the ski, 899 for a single axle trailer, 300 for taxes (south carolina), and 270 for registration/paperwork. Includes a 2 year warranty. So around 13,700 OTD. But the trailer doesn't have storage and they seem pretty eager to get this out of the crate and sold. It's the last one left. From what I have seen, anything from 13,500 - 14,500 OTD is probably a good deal. Anything over 15 seems a little high.

Another dealer not too far away has a left over 2016 RXT X 300 at 12,900 for the ski, 899 for the trailer, plus tax. Seems like a great deal, but I'm still leaning towards the GTR x 230.

Your dealer is overpriced by at least $1,000. For that kind of money, I'd buy a plastic snap together shed from Home Depot or the like and store it in my backyard. Dealers do this "storage" deal so they can also hit you for winterization and prep-for use for summer. They will charge between $100 to $200 for each service. Every other year, they will also usually say you need a new $300 battery and charge you $45 in labor to replace it. Money in their pockets as it takes me less than 30 minutes to do any of these at my house and I can buy a quality battery online for $200 or so and do that myself.

Thanks for the info gents! The storage is just a box on a trailer for wetsuits life vests etc and has a tray for 4 gas cans to lock to it.

I'm going to go back to them with 14k trailer taxes titles fees otd along with two life vests and reg stickers fort he craft. I plan on doing all the maintenance myself other then warranty issues. Can't stand what dealers charge for Labor that takes me half the time they bill for and is free

Why not jump on that 300 Smitty75? It's so close in price for all that extra get up and go. Do you like the GTR hull/ride better?
