Gsx throttle grip

I've had a sticky throttle the last time I went out. Had a look round the ski today and it seems the throttle cable outer casing keeps popping out of its housing in the handle. Fixed it in place a few times but kept popping back out shortening the throttle response. I will add I was just press the handle without the ski running.

Pulling the cable on its own it seems smooth but then snags a bit. Guessing it's gonna need a new cable but is there anything I can try before that?

You can lube in the cable... but it sounds like it's just time for a new one.

be sure to get an OEM one. I had a SBT throttle cable on my 02XP last all of 1 or 2 seasons. The OEM one lasted 12+

It's almost like you don't think SBT sells quality parts.
