Grate Support Install

I have to replace the grate support on my starboard side intake. I can tell form schematics there are nuts inside the hull, like the ride plates. I have stuck my head down there quickly a few times and cannot actually see where these nuts are. Anyone have experience switching one of these out? What should I take out to gain better access, because it looks like the whole engine needs to come out!! Thanks.

I believe the nuts are covered with a glob of sealant. You should be able to see them looking down into the engine bay.

Yeah that’s what I’m expecting to see, they should be a foot from the weedless cable, but that puts them under the engine. Wondering if anyone has any pointers getting to them.

I gave up on working on a ride plate for this reason. They seem to be under the engine on my 2010 210 wit the NA 155’s.
