can one of the photoshop experts past in people taking a nap on those big ski's in the back ? Last time I rode a 4 stroke I almost hit a bridge cuz I fell sleep out of boredom !

your not kidding about the stranded........yeah im thinking about modding this one as much as i can and see what it can actually do

just remember that when it comes to mods, baby steps are a good idea, don't get all carried away right away, it can get pricey.

nothing lol ....he paid me 300 and gave me a trailer....i traded him my 95 xp with the 717 and no trailer and he gave me a 96 xp a single trailer and 300 bucks because it needed a starter

Wow nice!, the seller probably just wanted something that works! and yours was working perfect!, he didnt care about the 717 or 787, just wanted to hit the water and go!

Though you made out like a bandit, because you mentioned that the XP has a new engine... so you stole it!

There is a 95 and 96 on double that doesn't start for 1300 bucks.
I would be all over it if I had the cash.

do u know what's wrong with them? i'm sorta lookin for one more ski and a double trailer, also

all this talk bout 96 xp has got me :drool5: do u guys recommend 96 xp or 97 xp and why? other than 97 being a tad more expensive

Nope.
Told owner to give me a call if no one took them.
I wanted the 800 if I could get it for under 400 bucks.
Said he had two people coming to look at them.

OH and the xp is only 95-96. The 97 change to the spx.

I'd try to find a 98 or 99 spx, they have improvements over the 96. The 97 xp is a newer hull style and it only has the 800. the 98 ltd had the 951 which is preferable in the bigger hull.

The 97 "wishbone" hull is a different riding style than pretty much all previous seadoo except the hx. It's a bit heavier, and has more surface area in the water, with the same power, so it's a mph or two down on the earlier 800 powered x4 hulls.
