The black vent has no cap or cover screwed onto it. Is it missing a piece that helps keep water out. If I spin the boat to the left, the vent allows small amounts of water into the tank. MIne is a 97 speedster. i suspect there are a lot of models and years made like this. I bought it used and it was like this already.
Looks like something is missing. Hard to tell in the parts pic. Any idea's? Item 12

After searching the net for other boats for sale like mine I can see there is a cap screwed onto the vent through hole. Looks like the cap is not spared anywhere. Have to buy the assembly. Just ordered it from amazon. Also orderd a slam latch, got the black one to replace my missing white one from the rear storage door. Putting steel hinges on both the cooler and the rear storage door from lowes. Got the slam latch in black from amazon.
