Fuel/oil gauge

Hi guys, new guy here.
I did some search here an in other boards
But cant find the answer.

Im the proud owner of a 96 spi wich i got
About a year ago, the machine came with no
Fuel gauge (had one)the harness still there but no
Gauge. I been looking around to buy one but almost all of them
Have 2 harnesses one big with 6 wires and 1
With 2. Now, my ski has only the big 6 wiires plug.
Will the ones with 2 plugs will work? Or i have to get the
Single plug one.

The extra pair of wire is power and ground for other gauges. It can be left disconnected.

Ok ok so any fuel gauge will do??

an older one will have the correct connector...then newer one has a four prong and a couple of two prongs. If you have the correct connecter and the detent tool, you can convert it.
