Ok I see what your saying but I have seen inside the hull near the oil reservoir a filter covered in oil. But there is a another filter. From the ON post of the selector valve the line goes in to the water separator and then into this filter and then into the carbs. I am not sure what this is called but Ive opened it and smells strong like gas but its really dried out.
