fuel gauge not working ?

1994 sea-doo 587 spi jet ski . the fuel gauge does not work ? does anybody know what to look for . is there a common problem to look for . if any one has any info that would be great . thanks again ....johnny....

What do you mean by "not working"? Like it reads low fuel or just doesn't pop up at all?

it ain't working at all . i've only had this thing for a week so i don't know if it works some times or not . but right now it don't do anything .

It can be bad, or the sender card in fuel bafel is bad. Disconnect the bafel wires and
jumper the harness side pins. With lanyard off, hit the start button. If gauge goes to full, the sender is bad, if nothing, the gauge is bad. Search "Bafel Fix". or look in the classified or eBay for the 2 inch diameter gauge.

got to say thanks to all . got the gauge to work . the magnet fell out of the float . so i just got some J-B weld and glued it back in . works great !! thanks again .
