Fuel Gauge

Most likely its the float, the old design has corks in the ends and the float usually sinks to the bottom of the baffel, or the magnets have come loose.

Rather than me explaining the whole operation go to xxxxxxxxxx.com he has the part and has a pictorial of how to replace it.

It also could be the fuse thats located inside the baffel, but I would try the float first. I had the same problem and it turned out to be the float.

This is a common problem with the Seadoo fuel gages. There is a sticky somewhere, I'll have to find it for you. You can look at the bottom of my signature for the link to "snipesKorner" and probably find it there. But, here's a quick description....

First, where your fuel baffle is, you have a plug. Disconnect that plug at the baffle. Get a short piece of wire, stripped at both ends. When you seperate the plug, take that short piece of wire and use it as a jumper between the two posts that lead back to your dash.

Push the start/stop button or put your lanyard on the post. You'll have 33 seconds that your gages will respond.

If your F1 fuse is blown down inside the baffle, your fuel gage will read that it is full. If the fuel gage does not move, then the fuel gage itself is probably bad..... Let me know what you find out....
