It has been working great but yesterday I put it in the water and it was not working at all......Where should I look 1st? Is this a common thing?

Fuel Float

It's probably the fuel float, check inside the baffel and see if it has sunk to the bottom. The old style uses corks which get fuel logged and will sink, the new style is one piece plastic, much better design.

It could also be the fuse, which is a bigger job, check the float first.

There is a how to article, in this forum, about this.

Fuel Baffel

You need to loosen the bungies, and pull the tank forward to get clearance to remove the baffel. There is a tread in the how to section of this forum on how to remove the baffel, and install a new float and a fuse (if necessary). Mine didn't need the fuse just a new float.
