Fuel Filtersfor 787 are Manufacture Discontinued

I called my local dealer to get 2 fuel filters and 2 oil filters. They've indicated to me that fuel filters are no longer going to be availabe.

I'm assuming I can use any fuel filter that has the proper size connector for my fuel line? If not anybdy have any suggestions?

On your boat... they are just regular "In-Line" fuel filters. Go to the autoparts store and get some 1/4" generic filters.

The reason they are discontinued is probably because people buy the $4 filter from the autoparts store, instead of the $10 seadoo filter.

I was at a few stores the other day, but think it was "harbor frieght", that i wasd at, that had the filter element. Exact size..etc, 2 inna pack, think it was 2 buks....either way, like Doc, mentioned, install a clear bubble down by carb, inline with the inlet fuel line, and be done with it. Also, the factory filters are known to pull air in, once o-ring at top, goes bad.
