im just felling the waters on this but is there any intrest in my 94 sea-doo xp with a 720? yes a gray 720 not a white 717. it has some mods done to it but nothing 2 crazy. needs a new battery and im rebuilding the carbs. i dont trust people to work on my stuff just like u dont trust people to pack ur shoot. but any way i know its about closing season on ski's so i figure ide give it a shot. if i dont get any good deals on it ill wait till next open season. but any way shoot me some offers.

720 and 717 are two different names for the same engine whether it's gray or white.

right and if u really read my poste u would havd red that it is a 720 motor thats in the boat and not a 717 or even the 650 that thay came with.

Sorry. I was just saying that a 717 is a 720. There is no difference. In fact, if you look in any BRP publication (shop manual, owners manual, or parts, list) you will never find any reference to a 720. BRP calls it a 717 and that's what you have. 720 is just a different name for a 717, nothing more.
