Flush Port Question

I have an 07 Speedster 200 430 HP. The flush ports on the pump support, when you flush on a garden house is the port feeding the Intercooler then exhaust manifold or just dumping into the J pipe of the exhaust.....I have looked at the Cooling diagrams several time and it appears to dump into the J pipe.

It goes through the intercooler and the exhaust manifold.

I am confused

The manual says:

The water supply is provided by a pressurized area in the jet pump between the impeller and venturi.... so how does hooking to the flush port get water to the intercooler and exhaust manifold?

Sorry I just am confused....thanks for your help!
