He was at "$700 firm" earlier in the week. Now at $550 he's in poking range. I just text to state that I'd go $400 if he drives it down.

He just called and finally accepted the $400. We are meeting tomorrow. I love a 96GSX!

Those are pretty mint. He should be able to get 3800-4000 out of those
14-1500$ each for the skis

nah.... 3K max would be my guess..

1) Florida is depreciated.
2) Key west = 100% salt, and ocean riding + x4 = salt inside most of the time.
3) $400 max for a steel trailer, we can buy an aluminum I beam double for $1,000-$1200 around here.

I'd say max is about $3500 on a good day with a motivated buyer.

If I owned that setup I'd be asking $3,300 and take the first $2900 offer.
 
I tried selling my 95 (no salt use) and 96 XP on a double with some aftermarket goodies in middle of summer for 3k and got laughed off of CL. Florida is spoiled on ski prices for sure

ya, norther peeps are always amazed at the prices down here, granted there are solid reasons behind the prices.

1) supply outweighs demand, we literally trip over them around here, especially in my area, my city alone has 400 miles of canals (over 10,000 boat docks).

2) salt + negligence = stuck bolts, faded gelcoat, peeling seats not to mention assorted electrical & engine issues so our large supply of pwc's also have more than their share of failures.

Florida will continue to be low priced haven for used pwc for years to come IMO. Our trailer prices are crazy depreciated as well, $2-250 for a single $5-600 for a double trailer is pretty much the going rate.

those numbers drive the canadians crazy !!!

ya, big downside if you are in a hurry, but if your patient you can catch the right buyer who know's what he's getting, but it can take some time. Don't get me wrong, that spx package should sell for more, it just doesn't down here unless you get lucky and catch the right guy early.

1995 Seadoo XP Jet Ski with continental trailer. Runs great, last ran on April 11, 2015. 2013 (Yuasa) battery, fuel gauge works, oil injection works, high compression, does about 49 mph. Currently registered and able to show (Markham park). Slight hesitation on initial accel, probably dirty carbs? Some paint fading, previous owner put new seat on, garage kept last few years always fresh water flushed. Continental trailer in great shape, no rust. Clear title in hand, ready to sell.
