I don't think they ever looked good, lol.I almost never mess with Yamaha's, I stripped down a few of them in the past but it took forever to get rid of all the crap I had left over. However, these dont' look that bad, and at $100, how can you complain ?

That is plenty to work with. I still have good 717's so no problem there. That was a newer 717, you can tell by the mag cover and mounts.
It has a Factory pipe and flame arrestors. That set up is guilty of blowing up many a 717 but it really rips. You will have to decide if you want to keep it Aftermarket and "edgy" or go back safe and reliable.

I would take that RXX. You take the engine and pipes and I'll take the rest. We just need to get him to separate the wounded one from the pack.
No I think the pipe and the carb jets were all that were changed. I'm trying to get a new house right now or I'd probably just drive there and get it. A deal on a RXX does not come up that often.
Yeah it's pulling at me. I'm the kind of idiot that "can't afford" new paint and floors in the house before we move in but meanwhile has added an eighth "keeper" to the fleet. I must say it has always worked out though. A great deal on a great ski might be worth paying a little credit card interest on (I tell myself) haha.
Honestly I'm more worried about the stupid finance company freaking out about a "large purchase". They are so strict these days since the mortgage scandal. I used to just tell them how much I had and it was good enough. Understandably that was part of the problem.

Yes it sucks sometimes cause the hammer stops with you and the world can deal some tough blows. I wouldn't trade it though.

Just the fact that he has taken the effort to rearrange his toys and put forth this new offering shows that he could use some Holiday cash. Not a lot of people shopping jetskis this time of year.
I'm both tempted and afraid to text him and ask what he would cut loose the RXX by itself for.
