hey 96spxpos, i actually sold the black one, it was a 1995 sxi, just haven't updated my profile i guess :)

I actually don't even know if mine runs, it was just sooooo clean, and i believe i got a good deal on it, i wasn't planning on selling it, but if you want it, shoot me an offer :)

but to help u look for standup's what kinda price range were you looking in? and lookin for js's, sxi's, superjets? 440 or 550? mine is only 440

nice.
what did you pay for it?
I am not picky, 440, 550, Yamaha or Kawi, not picky at all, just want one that RUNS soundly and FLOATS, I don't care if its pretty or not...
I found one 2 years ago while living in the keys for $500, the guy assured me he drove it recently and it was sound.. we took it down to the shore and it pretty much sank like a sack of bricks...

well....ideally if i sold it to you, i'd like to get more than i paid for it, just for the hassles, haha

but i sold my black one for 1200 and it did just need carb work, i never got it going good, but the guy who bought it had it running smooth that weekend after he adjusted the carb

ok so if the motor isn't locked, and possibly even runs, would you take $500 for it if I picked it up?

hey there, i think i'm gonna hold on to it for a lil while, see if i can get it going, i did check yesterday, the motor isn't locked up, so that's a good start :)

ok well if you come across anything, let me know..
btw, I bought a gsx hull, same year/color as that for parts...how do the "garbage men" treat hulls by you guys? When I was in the keys, I had to cut the entire hull of my spare spx into 20 pieces with a sawz-all and put it in the dumpster, but up here on the west coast, I literally just dragged the entire gsx hull to the trash and they picked the whole thing up and hauled it away...

my garbage men won't touch a complete hull. But we have a landfill $8 per ton that's about a half hour away, very reasonable and easier than getting all that fiberglass in your skin, the only complaint is that it takes 1.5 hours round trip to complete the job.

seems like I've gotta filter thru tons of BS on CL before finding the good stuff.. kinda like when we make those 2 hour drives where the owner says "mint condition, title in hand" and you get there and he "cant find the title" and the ski doesn't hold water:banghead:

Just go on Craig's list and type in stand up jet ski...decent looking js-550 for 450.00 pasco county...seems there is always a lot of skis for sale in pasco..

Welcome to the world of craigslist.... Seems to be all it is anymore, sorting through tons of crap to find that one gem
