Haven't even made a craigslist add yet, but I got to kick a lowballer out of my garage yesterday, that's always fun, (a friend of a friend of a friend that turned out to be a flipper) he offered me 3K for my 4 stroke on a double trailer and seemed to feel that the fact that he had cash was really important. (it wasn't :) ) fortunately it was quick and painless, in and out of the garage in 5 minutes or less, and the ski is all shiny now since I wiped it down before he showed up, so at least I got a nice quick buff out of the deal.

My BIL drove up to orlando and bought a brand new 08 Honda F15X yesterday. I'm looking forward to taking it for a test ride and seeing how I feel about it.

don't be jealous guys, my race ski is gonna be the spim killer soon

It's always hilarious to me how much value people put in having cash.... It's like I can offer you half of what it's worth, but..... I have CASH!!! Don't get me wrong, green backs talk, but I mean give me a break... I had the same thing happen to me on a Kawi standup, I was already askin less than I thought it was worth and guy literally cut my price in half, and then responded, " I know the ski is worth way more, but I have cash".... Lol keep trying

I have the same response every time. "I wasn't planning on taking a check"

what's kind of funny tho, and I know this because I've sold quite a few, you'd be amazed how many people want to either a) negotiate by txt, which I don't do either and b) negotiate without cash, they want to bump you down and then will want 2 days to get the cash together, so cash is important with all these goofballs, so when we actually start getting close on price, I have asked to see it before only to find out they don't have it.

People are hilarious.... And yes I'm with you on the texting/negotiating, I really don't mind texting for general info or questions.... But I've always felt negotiations were best handled at the least with a phone call, guess it's easier for people to hit you with a low ball number through a text.... Oh well, it's the game we all play with Craigslist... But just think how much harder it would be to find cheap skis without it!

Thank You Nammer!!!

I have the parts to complete it on the other HX I got in Jax. This one I can get excited about because it was on the 95 tour. I just love the race history and I bet it handles pretty good with those XP sponsons up front.

This is not a great deal but a real cool ski.http://www.ebay.com/itm/111316647033?_trksid=p2055119.m1438.l2649&ssPageName=STRK:MEBIDX:IT

yes, First, CL is absolutely amazing IMO, I know people are weird, but the site itself is extremely effective.

the competition, at least here locally, and i'm sure everywhere, has picked up quite a bit as more and more buyer/sellers jump on it and utilize CL for what it is, its a tremendous tool.

There are certainly downsides, the anonymity allows people to mislead and take advantage of people on both sides, but as long as you approach the process with caution the downsides are mostly avoidable. 3/4 years ago it was a bit easier to find deals, since you didn't have 8-10 guys jumping all over the listings, but it just means that you have to be a little more persistent and on the ball. We have a couple of guys that are lowballing sellers full time, and it has actually worked to my advantage on a couple of occasions, where the flipper got to the seller before I did and offered a ridiculously low price, then I came in a bit higher and picked up the ski lower than I expected because the lowballer softened the seller up for me :) But there is no doubt that the full time lowballers are beating me out of 80% of the steals out there, its fine by me, i'm cherry picking my spots anyway.

the dealers are REALLY getting into CL right now, some mornings i pull up key words and there are 30 listings in a row from one or two dealers, obviously they've finally come to the realization as to where their customers are shopping first, before visiting a salesman.

as far as negotiating through CL, I only do it when I'm not willing to pay asking price, and when they do accept an offer, when i get there, I never offer them less, unless there was something undescribed or grossly misrepresented. Now if there is something I would pay asking price for, I get there first, then offer lower, and at that point, whatever they take is how much I pay, even if it is asking price

oh man, I was just reading some of my early posts on this thread, I was such a NEWB/RETARD WOW, i can't even believe i knew so little back then

Guys, I know this is not a FL listing but it is a FL boat, seems like a pretty good deal. I would buy it myself but I can't afford a divorce right now.

Jet Ski Previously Celebrity Owned - $1 (Palm Beach Gardens)

00Q0Q_eP1SOHAUCJd_600x450.jpg

I am selling this Sea Doo jet ski previously owned by golfer Tiger Woods. It is in fantastic quality, with very low hours. Professionally up kept by his personal staff. This was on the freshwater lake on his orlando home.

It is a 1998 Sea Doo Xp limited. It has under 50 hours. It is very agile and very very fast. Insane acceleration and responsiveness. It is at showroom quality as it was properly upkept to pristine condition. The quality of the ski is just astonishing. In much Nicer shape than most newer skis for sale in the market now. It was and still is exceptionally maintained with the highest quality products. I can further explain if needed.

I don't have any pictures of the engine but the engine is in tip top shape. It is thoroughly flushed and sprayed with boshield, corrosion block, corrosion inhibitor, and wd40 after every use. This excessive care keeps it in top of the line shape. This ski is in far better shape than even brand new 2012 skis that were not properly upkept.

I put a new turf mat on it just yesterday and it looks very sharp. The turf mat cost me 200$ because it was custom made. It is very nice.

I have photocopys of the original bill of sale and title as proof of tigers ownership. Also I have a double jet ski trailer that I will throw in if the price is right.

I am open to offers and trades. Must be serious. Look at what these are priced at on craigslist and boat trader, and all of those are not in this great of shape. Then make a fair offer.

Feel free to text me at 5618910825 or email me. Please Do not call. I will not pick up. I am busy and will text.
