I've been staring at that thing for a while now and still don't know what to say about it. My imagination fell well short of coming up with half of those accessories.

My fav is the bow and arrows mounted.

Depending on the year of that kawi, it could be worth it

yip, it might be the most complete (albeit bizarre) offshore/backwater fishing pwc setup i've ever seen. Make's jetskiBrian's setup look pretty basic. A serious angler could pretty much head anywhere in that contraption.

here's a pic or three of JSB's setups.

I've used several of JSB's amazing photo's as wallpaper on my desktop and laptop for years.

alrighty, it's been a long time since i've had a problem with my skis, mainly because I didn't have one for a while, then it was sitting, then it wasn't starting, NOW, it starts like a dream, the stator and solenoid were replaced, it it basically starts up with 1 click, no issues, occasionally 1 or 2 pumps of the primer or needed, but starts amazing. Took it to the beach wed and today, and having issues with it running, it'll idle great, it'll throttle really well if I feather it, but as soon as I let off, and hit the throttle again, it will die completely, but then be able to start right up again. Or if I and just idleing it normal and just slam on the throttle it would die. Do you guys think this is a carb issue? The gas in it was supposedly from july, I just added 1.5 gallons of fresh gas to it (and spim and matt braley know I only run regular, but this time I put premium :))

here are a few pics of my adventure. I felt really proud I was able to get it on the truck, but when taking it off and puttin it on my deck wagon, I dropped it on the ground, and really f'ed up the fiberglass

oh, one more thing I forgot to add, on one of the carbs, one of the gaskets as the bottom of the base was basically gone, I know that needs attention, but could that possible cause this problem?

Are you saying that the carb base gasket is missing? If so, then YES! Get a gasket, install it and try the ski again.

thanks, i'll do that next!

also, I'm gonna pull apart the carb and check that little filter, I forget, can i spray that with carb cleaner, or wd 40? or only compressed air

I've sprayed mine with carb cleaner and it cleaned them up like brand new without even having to use compressed air. Real quick and easy.
