Yeah I'll run buoys back there with ya. I'd feel better with someone else around. It's beautiful out there under the Bald Eagles nest but it's also full of gators and jumping fish. That's right, I said jumping fish! I see the Mullet jump all the time but the other day one smacked my X4's single gauge hood as I sped by between 40 and 50mph. I had to register it as a new hazard.

The boat will probably best serve me parted out. I have a little less than 1000 in it and it is a fresh water rig. I could sell the 720's, the trailer, and the electrical box for a mild profit. Then I could dump the hull at Waste Management for about $30 of fees. Most the seats are torn of coarse so no loss there. I have the minty factory cover too. I'm very sorry to hear about your mother.

For the rest of you, there is this: http://pensacola.craigslist.org/boa/3594178321.html

If I was home I'd snatch that trailer from u quickly. In fact give me a call I might have someone pick it up for me 352-978-3349

Don't worry it is not going anywhere. The guy who picked up the spx for us is in ohio right now, he will be here tomorrow morning and is staying here a while. I think they are headed back next week. I will give you a call though, I will find out when they are headed back and what his work schedule usually is. If you want it we will not sell it until you have a chance to check it out. I have not seen it in person, i have seen exactly what you see in the pictures, but I hear it looks good.

When I lived n mullet there was mullet all over those little channels connected to the intercoastal.

In rivers now they have those asian carp, now those are jumping fish, it would be a huge obstacle to avoid on a x4

One of my faves. Eric Young Off the Hook. Going for the asian carp--Kentucky Tuna as they called it. My son and I have this on Tivo, probably my favorite episodes.

Hmmm...

So dodging flying mullet and Gators while running bouys... maybe good practice for obstacle avoidance during races???

Gary I thought you would be commenting that you just picked that Clearwater deal up that Nam most recently posted. The guy is starting at a thousand but says"come on over, let's make a deal". That sounds like $700-$800 to me and the double trailer is worth six. People want those yami triple engines for their stand up projects and that XPL doesn't look to bad.

Yeah we will be fine back there riding buoys. Just let it warm up a little.

i'm closer to clearwater, but my truck is kinda inoperational :( bad u joint, vibrating like crazy, i need to go outside and pull off the driveshaft, but it's too cold..... brrrrr

Wow, yeah that probably would have came back north with me, only an hour from where i was yesterday morning.
I had to run back to FWB for work... my brother took over at the hospital with pops for a few days. I will be heading back as soon as I can but I bet it will be long gone!

Yeah maybe it fell through?
I called early Friday he said it was sold but he would make me a great deal on a 19 foot Bayliner (sans motor), lol, yeah-no, thanks.

OMFG I wish I had some cash right now.... 96 XP, Gorgeous.... No price listed. Owner describes problem as "When you try to start the motor, the 2 cycle oil continues to pump oil into the upper part of the head"

http://panamacity.craigslist.org/boa/3592586854.html

That has been listed for a while. I talked to him a while back and he said he would take $800 for it. The problem it has is that the inner crank shaft seals are leaking. Honestly most of them are and people don't realize it or care. If it seeps then you just get the smokey start ups and the longer it sits the smokier the start up.

Eventually it either sits long enough between start ups or starts leaking enough(or some combination of both)that the two stroke oil normally contained in the RV area leaks enough into a cylinder that it locks the engine up. When you pull a plug it starts pumping oil every where.

This could be "milked" for a long time if you want to finish an engine's life before a rebuild. Maybe he has run this one to where it is just completely blown out? But the optimist in me says he just found it locked up while trying to crank it after a six month sit. I've known "rednecks" to even put a little shut off valve on the feed line to the RV chamber to stop the flow between usages:redface:.

With all that said it I think it would be a deal at about $600 since we are coming into season. That's assuming it had some "milking" left in it after the rest of the basic maintenance is brought up to speed.

The same idiot that let them sit out in the weather without covers. Being cash poor is what credit cards are for.
