Looks like there are steel wheels on that beach cart. We have a regular beach cart like this and I see these wheels on everything up here they take the salt and sand real good.

Perhaps you could get a hold of these guys and see http://www.beachcartsusa.com/. These wheels use a plastic type bearing in the wheels or just pimp it with some new beach meats like these, but that would defeat the savings deal. I'm pretty sure they sell the bearings. As amatter of fact when you go to the wheel page between the tractor tire looking one and the smoothies there are two bearing sizes listed 3/4 and 1", but you'll need to know the outside diameter(your hub).

Or figure out the size and order them from Mcmaster.com

Here is the PWC dolly

Good job on the road trip, I was hoping for something like it flew out the back of your pick up and slid across 6 lanes of 95 traffic. But better for Matt that it didn't.

Yup,
Going to take wheel w/me to place that sells bearing and see what I can match up.
If no rebuilt kit available then yup new wheel/tire combo.
I'll know the size then.

Saw a few people pulled over. I set CC and sat back for the ride.
Came back with a packed truck
:auto:

SWEET, well u posted it, so that credit belongs to u, plus u picked it up too :)

but I do like the idea of this thread a lot, and glad it has contributions, looks like texas and alabama are dead :biggrinjester:

hahaha.
Def win win for Matt and me.
Wouldn't have gone otherwise

I can save that hood too, have you seen my how to thread on cleaning hoods?

Yes they will, your spi has the same mpem as the xp so you can hook up all the gauges too but you would need to use some of the harness off the xp. Very easy to do though.

Never mind the last post was me being dumb, i thought you had a 95 spi. I think your spi has a different mpem, So the hood will fit, but im not sure if you can use other gauges, but there are blanks that you can use that are just a plastic plug that says seadoo that will fill the unused gauge locations. If you need a hood like this i have many, i have hoods from 95-96 xp that have 3 gauge spots and 97- 98 spx hoods that have 2 gauge spots. Ill do a straight trade for a single gauge hood, no wiring or gauges unless you want to pay a little extra not much more though

Lol, no thanks, thought you were trying to just make yours custom. Most people want to get rid of their hood and get a single gauge hood. I do have hoods though complete with gauges and air deflectors,

Ive tried fixing them before by taking off the bottom and using fiberglass on the bottom side to mend the crack and hold the hood togethor, then flipping it back over then taking bondoglass to fill the crack, then sand then epoxy over that then sand, then primer, then base coat tjen clear coat. Final product looks great, then you jump a wake and the seam where the crack is gets a hairline crack then a few later shes back to busted.

I'm cooking up a different idea:reddevil:

yea i'd be fo frizzle when i find another one, it's kind a low priority right now, until i find one for cheap, i'll shoot u a text in a few minutes

Are you going to get crazy and make a mold outof it? Or maybe carbon fiber over the top of it. Ive seen youtube videos where people cover parts they already have, looks sweet but expensive.

I want to make a mold and experiment with carbon fiber to be honest. But I would still like one that is not wasted. They are two parts right the top and the bottom? There also is a company that does vacuum forming and I actually thought about seeing if they could do it , but in plastic like it already is but in an array of different colors. Only downside is it would be a group buy IF they could even do it. But they would need to start with a good one. I'm always looking to try something new.

Just got the text from Nam, she's a candidate for a mold--MAYBE that crack is huge.

jetskigoodie, curious how much you are asking for anytype of hood that'll fit my ski

Usually about $50 but shipping is going to be high because of size and weight, but i charge more for single gauge hoods. Mostly i keep them for seadoos im flipping.

But here is a link i would jump on. I dont think youll get one cheaper.

This guy is in fl so maybe close to you not sure. This guy is an azz though, he keeps stealing my complete listings. He will copy and paste my title, my whole description and my pictures than lower the price. The guy lists alot and i would copy his listing title and paste in ebay search and sure enough he stole almost everyone of his listings from other sellers. For about a week i went through his listings one by one and contacted the people he was took from and let them know the listing number. I contacted ebay about it and all of listing were suspended, anyways here is his listing

It doesnt have a gauge but if your close maybe you could pick it up for free

thanks for info jetskigoodie, I actually messaged him like 3 days ago about local pickup, still haven't heard anything, it's roughly an hour ish away, but whenever i travel into tampa or st pete, it's not that far then

i figured for 50 or 70 bucks, i might as well buy someone's junk ski, i know this one is still available, i'll offer them like 50 in a few weeks when i go back to gville, plus one time i saw one of these body skis for $25, but i didn't need it then

Junk skis up here are a minimum $225 and are gone quick, when i say quick 2 hours from them being listed they are gone. We dont get deals like that too often but the internals arent corroded from salt so i guess thats the difference
