Thats actually a good price for a custom ski. I wouldn't take less than 3000 for my hx if I sold it the way it is and no less than 3800 after its painted.

matt I think thats too cheap.... i guess i'll be proven right/wrong if you sell it in a week or less.
mine sold for $4200, but had a bimini... otherwise,,, exact same boat. (and it was summer)

i think it's priced pretty reasonably, only because it has a single motor, i'm not even sure if any 96 challengers have double, just my thoughts

twin rotax can go a little higher, but not by much surprisingly....and when broken can go lower, since there is more to fix...
i just wanted to point out to matt that mine sold for $1700 more than the asking price,,, just this july... I don't want to see him leaving money laying on the table there... I'd ask an absolute minimum of $4000...

Well thanks guys for the input. The boat is premix, Georgia paperwork to deal with not in my name(legit though), speedo and I think the fuel gauge is out, interior is trashed, and so on... I originally was going to make a nice boat out of it but now I'm looking to cut the next guy in on a good deal who wants to take on the rest of the little problems. Thanks for the vote of confidence though, I'll stick to that price.

No one laughed at my super run on sentence explanation to Nam? I sure laughed writing it. Boy that article was wack. How does a guy get that messed up? disturbing.

haha, i laughed when I read it, and forgot which thread it was on cause it wasn't on this page, i like how u rubbed one out, I'm sure the seller would love it if u rubbed on out on ur challenger before you sold it to him.

Today I met with a riding club out of Panama City. They were big into the Yamaha's. I was invited by the guy who bought the black 96XP. A beautiful day made for a great turn out. I was able to keep up pretty good with the two Seadoo racers that were there. The Yamaha's seemed slow but they were mostly smaller like Dennis's HX.

Nonsense, I represented well. Smiled at everyone, met a few, smoked them all. It was cool to see a Jetmate in real life. They had an ole X2 Kawi thing. Too many Blasters. I left there knowing more than ever that a 787 powered X4 is the answer to all the world's problems.

You need to put the pipe down, all the Yamaha your smoking is effecting your ability to think straight.

Thought you were rebuilding both the hx and xp. If you part it out you know Matt will be getting in touch with you

Nam- You sure we don't need an HX? That paddle boat was neat but I'll deal with that as a retired fella. I had never seen one either.

Those Yami riders act like an X4 is some unfair advantage that's gonna run over them when they fall off. I'm starting to see a higher purpose for the role of the HX.

i'm sure i don't need one, i told myself (not necessarily jacqueline) that I'm not buying anything til i fix my 96 gsx, (carbs are still on the dining table) but if i needed one, that ones looking more and more like it

since u see a higher purpose for one, i think that one is calling your name

if interior is messed up I can see the discount.. (note that new covers are like only $400) (but a pain) you can use it as a selling point to potential buyers,, seadooupholstery.com , just a thought.

lots of older yami's out there, blasters, a vxr, etc, good sized group !, honestly you should have smoked all of them, those 700/760/800/1200 models, none of them are terrifically fast. nothing wrong with a large group like that, usually a few really nice guys and some serious wrenchers in the group, a wealth of info and interesting conversation. I was one of those yami guys, but started riding with seadoo guys and they were having so much more fun than me, so I finally converted. Ride with those guys a few weekends and you'll start seeing people asking what you paid for your seadoo.

ps.. send your yamaha buddies this gif :)

Matt you need an hx! Lol
If I understand correctly kicking yamis was brp's design requirement for the little HX.
Not sure if you rode Dennis' s rocket ship or not but justified give a shout and I will bring my 95 over...
Only a lowly 717 but fun to carve with!
Probably want to pick a sunny 70+ day... you will get wet!!!
