Is there a rope hanging from the tow hook?

If it's the one I left on there then it is purposely too short to reach the pump for that reason. I'm very happy to see you guys get some good riding done....wish I was not so far away or I would have been right there with ya.

el toro, where have you been hiding? ever that that 96 xp on the water?

Good question. If I figure it out, I will let you know. The XP still hasn't been out on the water yet. I had Dr. Honda rebuild the carbs about a month ago but haven't gotten them installed still. Helped our younger son some with his summer project. It's a 1982 Mercedes 240D. With minimal help from me he's rebuilt the front suspension/steering and the AC. Then some regular maintenance..... Oil & filter changes, valve adjustments, etc. Then some work on the sunroof, some rusted areas, power windows, the vacuum lock system..... Very busy for him. Then had to help he and his roommate move into an apartment in Tampa near the university. That along with maintaining 2 homes, yards, pools has kept me away from the XP (the 2 GTI's and the Challenger as well). While you and Spim were out enjoying the glass-like conditions, I was spreading 85 bags of mulch and sweating out 4 1/2 pounds of perspiration. Later this month is the daughters 18th birthday, the father-in-laws 90th BD party, which encompasses a weekend trip to Ohio, then a 7 day cruise for Mrs. El Toro and me at the end of the month. You have to come on by and push me to get that XP out in the water.
