Inside the hull, you have to take some hoses etc. off to see it. On *outube there are videos explaining how to change it, it is a miserable task at best. When worn out it leads to cavitation when you are under throttle and lets water into the hull when it's just sitting. Get down to it and inspect it first, if you see a gap between it and the ring it sits against then you will need to replace it. I made some tools to change mine, either you can buy some or have the dealer change it.
