Ok guys so i start my 95 seadoo xp for first time of season after winterizing. i did a bunch of maintenance on the ski over winter to make sure everything was good. Rebuilt the carbs, chnged and flushed old oil and put in fresh api tc(quicksilver)oil, new sparkplug wiresand plugs, new battery, new fuel lines, cleaned complete fuel system. set carbs to factory specs.my question is (starts and idles great revs good on trailer with flush attachment) at high rpms it gives a little BACKFIRE when i let of throttle...a small but noticeable one...Is this normal????i gave it a good rev say 6500 rpm on trailer for one second to blow out the foggin oil....;)

I think I would wait and see how she behaves at the lake. I can't say if the backfire is normal or not, you really shouldn't run over 3500 rpms on the trailer.

Idle speed on trailer is about 3000 rpm according to manual so goosing it a little would get you way over 4000 rpm....i really shoulnt do that though(revving to 6k on trailer):(
