Went to pick up my boat today....06 Speedster 200 (430hp) I feel like a gotta deal from the guy.Pick the boat up in the moring from the shop as I had them inspect and hour the boat. (30 hrs) Seems like not that many hours at all. Can't wait to take it out. :hurray:

Easy,

I cannot wait for reviews after your first Sea trial. My 310 package is sweet, I cannot imagine what the 430 package would be like.

The boat is the viper red one. If you're pleased with the 310 I am sure the 430 will please me. I will def let you know what my first impression about the boat is. Patiently waiting for the shop to call and say come and get it! By the way....How much does a regular service cost. The had a spring special for 99.00 (change oil, inspect the boat, compression test, etc....) Didn't know if they gave the stripped down maint. hence the price or if this was just a deal.I told them I was getting ready to purchase the boat to "check it out" and that is what they sold me....by the way they charged me 49 to hour the boat.?.?

$99 to change the oil in both engines? Thats a deal!!! barneys of St. Pete charges $99/hour just for LABOR!!!

The 10 hour service at Barneys was $590 for the twin rotax. Fortunetely for me Smith Powersports funded it.

I asked 3 times 99? they said yes. Knowing my luck though it will be 99 a motor or something crazy like that. If it is only 99 least I will feel good paying that price!

That's not a bad deal. I'm sure the dealer wants you to return the business, so they want to leave you a good impression of their service. Most of the service at the 10 hr check is looking everything over, and inspecting for problems. The oil and filter is the most labor involved.

Alright....Just got done cleaning and flushing the boat. First time out HAD A BLAST..3 people 3/4 of a tank , moderate chop spedo read 65. Used car soap didn't seem to get the dirt all the way off( used scrub brush too) What does anyone recommend to clean with that may be a little stronger. Does anyone treat their seats? If so with what? Feel great about the purchase!

I will try to pick some up today. It seems perfect timing for the boat cause I am off till Tues. !!!!!!! Off to the water today again. I will let you know how that stuff works. ( thanks craig )
