Fiberglassing - need good opinions

I am very new to seadoos and this forum and my starting luck has not beenthat good - recently bought a 2007 180 challenger only to find out tha the bottom near the stern has been damaged.

The boat must hae hit a rock that broke away the fiberglass about a foot long and 3-4 inches wide. It seems that the boast was fiberglassed in the same area before. The area also shows signs of water dripping through slowly onto the driveway - coming from inside the boat.

The boat otherwise is in great shape and was a good price. Can this sort of thing be easily repaired or should I look to return the boat (the owner is willing to take it back with full refund)?

Looking for some advice - thanks

Post up some pics. I really think with your description though, with a willing seller, I would send it back.

There seems to be a small crack in the fiberglass under the gel coat finish. This is where I am seeing water seep through. I cannot see the crack from the inside - maybe because it is below the engine somewhere.
