Fuse...?
When you open this tube, make sure you use a continuity tester on the fuse. I found on mine, to my boat, was not the fuse by the solder and wire between the top of the board and the plug. I ended up re-attaching a wire and drilling a new hole for it at the top of the fuel sending unit. So, make sure you test continuity.
Also, make sure you disconnect the plug and short out the connectors that go to the fuel gage. Then, put on your lanyard to see if your gage rides to fuel. If so, then you know everything from the plug to the gage is fine....:cheers:
