Hi everyone!

Just a quick question. What is "EWI ready". The person was talking about upgrades to a 787 engine.

Thanks
Mike

***BUMP***

Anyone?

He also mentioned a performance cylinder head, running 170 psi compression.

The only thing I could think of is E.thanol W.ater I.njection. Do you use this method on jet boats???

Mike

Stick to 150 psi stock compression or be ready to do other expensive upgrades that won't do much in the long run. Remember that's a old seadoo...13 years. It's like an 70 year old man in water craft terms. EWI??? got me hanging.

Karl

I personally don't plant to run 170psi compression. The only reason I mentioned it was because it led me to believe that EWI stood for ethanol water injection.

BTW: I have to put a rebuilt motor in this boat. So it'll only be a 70 year old body with a brand new heart!!!

Mike

The boat never gets outdated, but at that age the engine needs some updating...than all is good. :)
