Error Code P0236 (Knock sensor)

I have 2007 model 147A Seadoo

I get a beep and this P 0236 code when boat gets above 40 mph. There is no loss of power and after a few beeps, it quits and you can rev on up to 52-55 mph. Do I need to be concerned about this?

I'm having the same problem. Any more information would be greatly appreciated. The ski starts great, runs great but seems like when I get to full speed, the buzzer goes off and the check engine with p0236 shows on the screen. It doesn't loose any performance. then kill the engine and let it rest a few minutes and it runs again till full speed and it happens again. I need some help! Is it just the knock sensor? The code says it is out of range. What does this mean.
