Engine compartment flooded

I own a 2008 Challenger 180 the plug was not in the boat and the engine compartment flooded, I am planning on putting in service on tuesday, what work would the service department need to do to make sure the engine doesnt have any future issues, the boat has about 6 hours of run time. Thanks in advance

if they say, its good to go, then you have to go by that. Only time will tell, with "corrosion" that is...

Did the engine get water in it and have you had the engine running since it was flooded. If not you need to deal with it straight away the long it sits with water in it the worse it will be.
