Ebay skis made it home to me

Well the skis I won on ebay I went and picked up today. First is a 95 gtx needs a good cleanup I know the starter relays bad it sounds like an old doorbell buzzing. Jumping the relay and starter wants to turn so looks like ive got some work ahead of me on that. Next one is a 96xp was told it needed a computer but fuse was blown on rear box and starter relay on it buzzes loud also im not sure what the previous owner did to them. Once I spend a few more hours on them ill decide what im going to do with them. I paid $810 for both skis and trailer but the best thing ill be able to find out where my other xp looses voltage. Just thought id share if I decide to keep im sure ill have questions lol

That was a good deal. I was looking at those same skis on ebay. Did you get them from Cincinnati ohio. Im looking for a xp and almost bid on those also. Good luck with your new toys.

Thanks ya I love the trailer I will be able to put stand up on front and sell my current double to a friend for cheap. They did come from cincinnati if you remember add it said computer was bad it was just a fuse. I know starter and relay are junk luckly ive got a starter that I can put on to get some compression numbers. Once I fix my other xp ill either sell new xp cheap as is tempo lines and all lol. If I get it looked as good as my other one and do lines etc. id sit on it till spring so it can be water tested

Was it the 5 amp fuse? If so the mpem still may be bad. The diode goes bad and will constantly blow that 5 amp fuse. Some people on here can fix them for you. Hopefully this is not the case, just something to keep in mind. Good deal though.

Nope it was the 15 but I figured it was a little odd that the mpem wasnt completely connected so you could be right. Ill compair it with my ofher xp and see
