Why do so meany people post so many crap parts like that. Does ebay give you better rates the more you list or something?

Kind of yes, and free insertion.

If u sell 200 items (sell not list) on a rolling 12 months you save about 2% in fees and get higher results for keyword matches.

Otherwise it's just simple, it's worth $0 in the trash. Maybe $5-10 if it sells. So they try.

I used to get hounded by a family member to list lots of crap used boat parts. NOT worth the time at all. I'm not spending time photographing, describing, answering questions, then mailing things. Then ebay takes a %, then paypal takes a %, then USPS charges $1,000,000 to ship a starter motor.

If it's not worth $100+, in the trash it goes. Not worth the hassle.

I still do that for family members, so today's project is to figure out how to unlock my mom's old iphone from the icloud, its a mess since i'm an android guy, which is much less complicated.

duly noted: my sister runs a part time business selling ebay stuff for others and that includes family, if its under $100 she charges 50%, 100-200 40%, $201+30%. I've actually modeled her idea when some co-workers and friends asked me to do the same and at least then it was worth my trouble.

I was shocked that she can get 50% but IIRC the "we sell ebay stuff" has $100 minimums.

Not ebay but still can’t figure out why this super clean ski (without a title) hasn’t sold yet on facebook marketplace
That is a mystery. I mean c'mon, it comes with a "bell" of sale. Lol
