Hey I did a swap and cannot remember for the life of me what side of the fuel the restrictor is? Its the butt connector. Its about 18" from either the inlet line or the return line.

Can one of you 95 XP-96 SPX owners tell me what side of the carbs its on? I think its the inlet line...but I want to be 100% sure.

...and the microfiches dont show one...on any model. I know the 800s have one on the inlet.

Also...I just want to apologize for not being around to answer questions. Just stupid slammed. I currently have 5 machines that need all maintenance done before I can resell.

My 2003 720 GTI has one on the return line. Looks like a little plastic coupler on the fuel line with two standard hose clamps. Sound correct? I can't understand why SeaDoo can't make a hose routing diagram like all the japanese mfg's do.

The restrictor is in the return line. Never heard of any Seadoo that had a restrictor in the inlet line. Are you sure about that? If so, why would they do that?

He's talking about that brass thing with a 1/4" barb on either side. I left it out when replacing the grey lines but I should have known it had a job to do(restricting). Just another example of BRP being smarter than me.

I just took apart a 98 SPX and its on the inlet side...I know I agree with you dennis but someone told me it helps with pump pressure even on that side of the pump.

Perfectly OK, it's just a straight fitting.
