Hi, the rear hatch will not fold right back onto rear platform as the hinges will not go that far, realistically when taking the gas springs off, you will get another couple of feet of room by folding the hatch back as far as it will go and tying it off on the grab handles on the swim deck. If you need any more room than that then you are looking at removing the hatch completely, which is a relatively easy process, depends on what maintenance you plan on doing? I took out and replaced supechargers and replaced bilge pump this year just by using the tying off method, mind you I did get a friend who is around half my weight to do the work !!
