Drive, Neutral, Reverse Problem

The reverse gate off from the driver's side engine does not respond when I adjust the gear lever from drive to neutral and to reverse. Fortunately, it is stuck mostly in a drive position so I have been driving it. Any thoughts of where it would likely have come unlinked? Everything externally connected to the gate appears okay. Thank you!

Take the bolt out of the nozzle for the reverse system, move the lever and see if the cable moves. You might have a bad cable!
