I've got a Speedster 200 430 HP which I plan to continue to use until the lakes freeze over here, which will probably happen in January, wakeboarding in a drysuit.
My question is, if I'm using it every week, are there steps I need to take to prevent damage from freezing while driving home from the lake? I understand that the IC is cooled by lake water and a normal part of winterizing is to pump some antifreeze into the flush tubes back near the jet drive. Could I just blow compressed air through there after taking the boat out of the water to remove any water and prevent freeze damage? Anything else I should be worried about?
