Do I have good fuel lines? Or the bad ones?

I read several posts about factory fuel lines that deteriorate and produce a gunk that clogs up the carbs.

I also read that they are gray... and mine are black-ish, so i THINK that i'm ok... but can someone reassure me? I attached a pic of my engine bay

Thanks!

Rule of thumb...

Regardless of whether "good" or "bad", fuel lines should be replaced every ~5 years. Since the "bad", grey colored, Tempo brand fuel lines date back to the mid-90's, they should have been replaced by now anyway. And if your fuel lines of any color haven't been replaced in the last five years, now's the time.

PS: Use all-stainless hose clamps when replacing.
