I just disconnected my beeper because its not working, my question is i know these elctrical systems are very touchy will it effect my normal opersation untill i get a new beeper thanks.

No, it won't effect the electrical system, the problem is you won't have a warning for low oil, high temp. etc. You can get a replacement, actually better than the original, at Radio Shack. I would get one ASAP.

Why remove it? The buzzers don't short down... they just stop making noise.

BUT.......

As Lou said... it's a warning buzzer. FIX IT !! A $9 buzzer can save a $1000 engine if you are running out of oil, or overheating.

Thanks alot guys for your help! , well i took the plastics off the jet ski so i could redo the frame pad with vinyl i knew it wasnt working so i just decided to take it out just wasnt sure when i would get a new buzzer and wanted to water test it, also how do you reconnect the radio shack buzzer because of the color code wires i mean is there a certain way or can i just trial and error to see which wire goes to which side? once again i really appreciate all your help as always! alan.

You will connect the red wire(s) to the positive + terminal, and the black to the terminal marked CONST -
