I have a 96 gti that the previous owner left outside a lot in the sun. I removed the stickers and now there’s an obvious color difference and luster difference. The thing that bothers me most is the color difference, I can still get a shine out of it. I tried a bunch of different stuff including whitewall tire cleaner and I used 1000 sand paper with my hand but it doesn’t seem to bring the white color back. I’m out of ideas, except for repainting, but I definitely don’t want to repaint.
