Dead again

So we had the engine running great. taking it very easy on it. Got half way to our destination and she started to rattle. No she barely turns over at all and will not fire.


I had the engine rebuilt about 2 weeks ago. A newer crank was used but not a new new crank.


Does anyone sell turn-key engines? I just want to buy a NEW complete, drop-in, fire it up, and go engine.

SBT will send new motor(rebuilt) then you send in yours.
Fullbore will rebuild your current motor again but if you just rebuilt it I would look elsewhere unless piston seized ?

SBT is the way to go. You can get a no questions asked 2 year warranty.

BTW... hindsight is 20/20... but now you know why used parts shouldn't be part of a rebuild. (money and time waisted)

Pulled the engine today. Hopefully for the last time. Taking it to the mechanic who rebuilt it tomorrow. Hopefully for the last time. If he can't make it right I will be driving over to SBT to swap it out for a turn key.
