"OMEMADE PONTOON BOAT PROJECT, STILL NEEDS A LITTLE TLC.
ABOUT 8FT BY 9 FT BOAT AREA.
HAS BEEN INSPECTED BY OHIO WATERCRAFT AND HAS A REGISTRATION NUMBER AND IS LEGAL TO HAVE ON THE WATER. "

I still can't get over this.

First off, someone built this horrendous, whatever the ___ it is. THEN they had it INSPECTED by someone, who I assume had to be paid for this service. THEN that person APPROVED it?! the floating parts, which appear to be some 55 gallon PLASTIC food drums, are STRAPPED on with... STRAPS.

I can't even.

Lol I thought the exact same thing. I want to see the inspection checklist and meet the guy who performed the inspection and then said "yes, that's definitely safe and legal".

I also assume given the craftsmanship that those barrels are being held on by whatever cheapest harbor freight straps he could find on sale. One of those snaps and you are screwed.

I seriously would need like a week to write up all the things wrong with that situation...

But it is damn funny... hunny! quick! we sprung a leak! grab the econo-duct-tape.

I thought hospital bed were for hospital patients. Never thought you could have other uses! Our electric over hydrolic cots will lift 700 pounds. I don't want to see 700 pounds on my gurney!

If the engines are both good and you can get this a little cheaper it's really not a bad deal. A good 25 HP goes for 1,000 - 1500 around here. Just not sure how they hacked up the controls to fit in those things.

What controls, besides a start button, throttle cable and steering cable, there is nothing to these motors. Simple as can be.

I mean as long as they didn't hack up the stock controls that would have come with each outboard to make them fit in those things better. It looks like they are still using the mercury trigger from the pics but not sure if they shortened that and the steering or its just looped somewhere in the hull.
