Cracked instrument panel (dashboard) on Speedster 150

Just a heads up. My instrument plastic screen panel has cracked. I think it may have happened from the storage bin lid being slammed down (dodgie gas strut).

I won't bother replacing the plastic panel - but I will put some adhesive foam around the storage bin latch to help absorb any impact if it is accidentally shut hard again.
