Correct carburetor for 1996 sea doo gtx/gsx 787

I bought two brand new 40mm carburetors for a 1996 sea doo gsx. The carburetors fit on the jet ski perfectly however there is an extra assembly on the left side of the pto side that looks like some type of fuel pump. There are also two small injectors that look like they are for the choke.

Does anyone else have theses types of carburetors for their sea doo and will these carburetors work if I hook up fuel line the extra components.

Those are the same carbs. with accelerator pumps, they fit a 97 and up 787, they will work fine, just set them up like for a 97GSX, if I remember correctly the LS is set 1/4 turn leaner. And yes I have a set of the identical carbs.

Hi Lou,

Thank you for responding to my post, how do I set up the carburetors on my 96 like a 97. Do I hook up fuel Lines to all of the extra outlets on the new carburetors and if so how I prevent fuel from free flowing through the small outlets where the choke is?

I happen to have a set of carbs. just like yours. I think I've got a picture, if not I can take some. I hope you got a check valve with your setup.
