Ok I was finally able to order all the pieces to make my 2up Spark to a 3up... waiting for parts (I got a super deal on them new :)), also going to aqua-performance to install a real reboard ladder on my spark..

P.S. this is not to legally make my 2up a 3up, the only reason I am doing this is because:

1. To have more stability on the water, reboarding in deep water, & cruising.

2. I bought a 3up seat which I'm going to make more comfortable (reupholstering it & adding padding it), plus I couldn't pass up the super steal deal I got on it.

3. By adding the 3 up extension , I am able to do step 4;

4. Talked to an engineer at aqua performance, and they are going to custom build a reboarding ladder for the spark.

pictures & instructions coming up

ps I know I could have gotten a gts, but I got my spark cheap, plus I got a 5 year warranty on it, & I'm keeping all my 2up pieces in case of warranty work..

I am sure the added parts will make the Spark much easier when it comes to reboarding and over-all comfort...

Super stoked! the first pieces of my 3 up extension & swing down reboard ladder came in, Wow.. the boxes are huge, i set a windex bottle next to it so you guys can see the how large the items actually are...

Very cool.. subscribed to the thread. Looking forward to seeing your updates.

Sorry about the other pictures, this time I'm uploading them here so that mistake doesn't happen again :)

No worries.. it happens. We have corrected the errors with attachments on this site so adding them shouldn't be hard any more.

OK, first thing first if you already have a reboard step.. remove it using a T30 torx HEX wrench kit head

Also the dealer I got my reboard step added 2 more holes.. I'm not sure why, but as you can see I really didn't like that, so I went to home depot and bought some rtv silicone that withstands salt water.. As in the pictureIMG_20160121_224137.jpgIMG_20160121_224103.jpg

I'm really anal when it comes to holes on my hull so I went and added silicone every half way on the screw, also I decided to put back the screws that I removed of course with silicone

Ok now we need to remove the existing cover where the 3 up extension is going to fit in.. Keep those 4 screws we are going to need them to attach the extension.. Plus you can save $20 without having to buy those screws:

Ok, my other parts have not came in yet, its cool because the rtv silicone states it needs 24 hours to cure, perfect.. The bottom part of the extension comes in tomorrow... Also I want to make extra sure those holes are water tight because those holes are going to be covered up by the 3 up extension..

If the holes are going to be covered and not seen, I would recommend putting Black RTV over the entire area. Spread it like Peanut Butter. Black is impervious to water and oil.

The bottom part of the extension came in, now waiting on my local dealer, all the parts are in except for the extension float part #292001504 that goes in the middle, its back ordered

Well... super stoked! my 3 up seat came in, I cant believe it, super happy, I got this seat for $40 bucks, <<===-- thats not a typo! Earlier I told you I got a super steal deal, the seat is $400 bucks or more at the stealership.

I got it on ebay at a salvage auction where they mostly deal with motorcycles, I guess they didnt care much about a pwc seat!! heads up for anyone looking for a great deal!

How it came in:

Im still thinking of upholestering it, I went to a upholstery shop, but after cleaning some of the seat off with awesome, i noticed it was easy to come off, i guess the salvage yard didnt even try cleaning it!

look after 10 minutes of cleaning it:

Ok back to work, I guess I love these guides because they teach us what not to do,
as in my case, I thought I could assemble the whole 3 up extension, and then attach it to my Spark, which is not the case,

1st. You need to attach the 3 up extension float to the upper deck of the extension:

this piece:
IMG_20160126_221804.jpg

goes attached to this first:

Now we need to attach it to the rear of the spark, by "inserting it horizontally towards the front

Make sure that it is aligned to the holes on the bottom, I made a mistake and it didnt align correctly:
